KALOANG HOME KITCHEN - BANGKOK, THAILAND
At first this place appears to be a dump as you approach.
But once you get over the "iffy" appearance, it's a delightful dining
experience. Not that it matters but you'll notice that all the servers are
transvestites if you're observant. But who cares? They serve up vast

SALOMA - KUALA LUMPUR, MALAYSIA
You may or may not wind up trying their buffet depending on
what night you visit. It's a very good place that offers up genuine

GUNDEL - BUDAPEST, HUNGARY
Reviews always start out by describing this restaurant as the
best in all of Hungary. And it is a pleasant and reasonably affordable
experience. But take your cholesterol medicine with you! They love

MEDITERRANEAN
PALIO'S - PACEVILLE, MALTA
You really can't get more Mediterranean than this place.
It sits right on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea and offers a great
selection of food heavy on seafood. It's a stand alone restaurant at the

KRONENHALLE - ZURICH, SWITZERLAND
A great place to sample Swiss cuisine although the wait staff
is a bit prompt bordering on rude. Try Wiener schnitzel with pork if you

ZUM MOHREN - SALZBURG, AUSTRIA
Tucked away in the beautiful Old Town section of the city,
this place caters more to locals than tourists. And it's one of the few
places where most diners make it a point to dress up for dinner. Many

POLYNESIAN
TRADER VIC'S - LONDON & WORLDWIDE
When we're in London we simply must drop by Trader's for a
Mai Tai and some Crab Rangoon. And we usually stick around for something
for dinner. Fresh seafood or something out of the Chinese Smoke Oven.
Great place located in the basement of the Hilton Park Lane Hotel in the Mayfair

JIMMY'S GRILL - PANAMA CITY, PANAMA
A good local hot spot with a wide variety of Panamanian
delights. Plenty of fish here, too.

STAC POLLY - EDINBURGH, SCOTLAND
Come on, don't be a chicken. Try the infamous but
beloved Scottish haggis at this wonderful restaurant. They "fancy it up"
and it is quite tasty. Lots of great Scottish treats to choose from here.

PORTERS ENGLISH RESTAURANT - LONDON, ENGLAND
This is about as English as it gets. Good food although
