We showed up without reservations and the place was jam packed, hardly anywhere to even stand.  We had to wait about thirty minutes for a table but it was worth our patience!  This visit came in February and it was cold outside but nice and warm inside!

Once seated we ordered our drinks and placed an order of King Crab and artichoke dip.  It was very tasty and served piping hot.  The dipping instrument was the house bread.

For our mains I went with seafood brochettes and my wife decided on the rock salt prime rib.


Very Early - Before Business Really Picked Up

My seafood brochettes were excellent and consisted of salmon, tiger prawns, and sea scallops (the big ones, not the tiny bay scallops).  Everything was grilled to perfection.  My wife's prime rib was very good although just a little overcooked.  It's so hard to get prime rib rare these days!  We sinned and got a side of mac and cheese loaded with bacon.  The portion was so big we couldn't eat the whole thing.

As usual when we're on the road, my wife splurged with a rich dessert, can't remember what she had that night.  I nursed a brandy and sipped coffee to end my meal.

Overall we were very pleased with this restaurant and could highly recommend it to you.  My only complaint was that the main dining room was extremely noisy once the restaurant got busy.  And they had the heater cranked to warp speed.   Still it's a good place.
