LONE STAR BAR AND GRILL

This is a lively and friendly place featuring an excellent assortment of Tex-Mex food.  It's also a popular sports bar with numerous TV screens scattered about. 

One big draw to Lone Star (not related to the Lone Star steakhouse chain in the U.S.) is the all-u-can eat fajitas one or two nights a week. 

On our first visit we all sampled a wide variety of good offerings from tacos to enchiladas to burritos and, of course, fajitas.

The Margaritas are nice and refreshing after a day of broiling under the sun at the beach and the beer is good and cold, too.

The wait staff is quite friendly and accommodating and you can tell that it's a fun place to be employed.

On one visit we did notice something slightly strange.  We were seated out on the patio right next to a thick row of hedges.  While you couldn't see the cars whizzing by just inches from where we were seated we could sure hear them blitzing by!

Lone star is definitely a place you should try during your visit to this great diving destination.  And be sure to buy a cute tee-shirt featuring a regulator on the front and scuba tank on the back.
