LENNY'S
CLEARWATER, FLORIDA

In my opinion, this is the best place for breakfast in the Tampa Bay area and it's one of the best places to get your day started anywhere, period.

Lenny himself was a great guy.  He passed away in the late 80s or early 90s and his wife Judy and their sons took over day to day operation of this great little jewel.  Shortly before his passing I had arranged to take Lenny deep sea fishing in my boat out of Pt. Tarpon Marina.  I'm really sorry we didn't get to enjoy that trip together.

After you turn your breakfast order in to your super friendly and accommodating server, a little plastic basket full of five different types of pastries arrives for each patron.  Kind of a breakfast appetizer.  Nibble away and get set for the main star of the show.

The choices are endless.  Every kind of omelet you can think of, eggs and all the breakfast meats and of course tons of tempting pancakes and waffles.

If you'd like something for lunch, they offer a luncheon menu too but it's the breakfast that keeps generations coming back to this wonderful family restaurant.

Lenny's is located right next to the Best Western Motel on U.S. 19 in Clearwater.  Their address is 21220 U.S. 19 North.  They are on the west side of U.S. 19 just south of Gulf to Bay.

You're gonna love this place!  And even if you have to wait in line for 10 or 15 minutes, it's worth it.  Trust me!
